Don’t forget, if you can’t make it to see us in person, our online shop and delivery service is now live, with new products being added all the time.
In the Kitchen
We can’t stop our kitchen team producing and this month we’re championing the 70’s boil-in-a-bag meal for your convenience – pop in the pot or the freezer for a rainy day (or even slip through the letterbox to a friend in need of an easy, warm meal). Enjoy things like beef short rib with winter chanterelles, vegan celeriac and field mushroom, smoked haddock chowder, and more. Our chefs are also working on an easy turkey solution for Christmas (stay tuned) and we’ll update you on our plans for December soon.
On the Block: Rose Veal by Kent’s First Producer
Many of you have asked for veal on our nose-to-tail butchery but, for a long time, it was not available within Kent where we strictly source from. Our friends at Badlesmere Court have started to produce a limited amount, raised freely on their land to the highest welfare standards. This beautiful animal is now hung in our fridges for the next nine days before it reaches the block. In the meantime, the offal is available on our counters, but hurry! It won’t be here long.
Rebel Farmer Salad Now on the Veg Stall
There’s so much to say about Rebel Farmer and their permaculture principles and regenerative methods to produce completely chemical free produce on their micro-farm in Kent, but the most important thing to know is that their wonderful veg, super salads and micro-greens are on the veg stall now. Do look them up though to read more.

Hoorah! Beaujolais week kicked off last weekend and Press Wine Services has a special offer on their Beaujolais Nouveau (exuberant flavour and youthful extravagance apparently). Pair it with a charcuterie selection from Patriana for a smashing night in.
